Cookies and storage

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) is a related technology that lets a site keep information on your device. AGKeno mainly uses browser storage rather than cookies.

What we store

KeyTypePurposeKept for
agk.profiles.v1localStorageProfiles on this browser: name, display name, Silver Coin balance, progress and rewardsUntil site data is cleared
agk.activePlayer.v1localStorageWhich profile is signed inUntil you log out or clear site data
agk.settings.v1localStoragePreferences such as break remindersUntil site data is cleared
agk.viewlocalStorageWhether you prefer tiles or list view on the Games pageUntil site data is cleared
agk.cookieNotice.v1localStorageRemembers that you've seen the cookie noticeUntil site data is cleared
agk.session.v1sessionStorageWhen this visit started and minutes playedUntil the tab is closed

All of these are needed for the site to work. None are used for advertising or to track you on other websites.

Third parties

Fonts come from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when they load. Our host may set strictly necessary technical cookies for security or performance. The embedded games are served from our own domain and share the site's browser storage so they can use your Silver Coins.

Managing storage

You can view and delete cookies and site data in your browser settings — look for "Cookies and site data", "Site settings" or "Clear browsing data". Clearing data for agkeno.com signs you out and permanently removes your profile, coins and progress on that browser. Blocking storage completely may stop joining and rewards from working.
